Above is that traditional photo of our last practice together, and for these Flames, in California, that is. It’s always one of my favorite photos. There’s just that feeling of, wow, look how far we’ve come, look at what we’ve accomplished as one, and this is the last day, under the last sunset, we’ll ever train again for it. It’s a day of happiness, relief, and a little bittersweetness, too, of course.
The anticipation for our PM Sunday departure is nuts. We are all so completely excited for this adventure into the unknown world of Nationals and Tennessee and opening ceremonies and other teams from afar, but we depart with a clear set determination of coming home with it all in our arms. We’ve come so far. There’s no stopping us now.
Below are all of our team photos over seven months of greatness. There will never be another team like this. Ever. The memories will remain unforgettable. Now let’s go make one more.
