Photos from Noah’s Worldstrides trip to Virginia and Washington DC!
Photo sites: Thomas Jefferson’s Plantation Monticello, Yorktown Battlefield, White House picture stop, US Holocaust Museum, US Capitol visit with a quick captured photo of Speaker of the House (coffee-holding) John Boehner, Ford’s Theatre, Memorials on the Mall (Vietnam), the newly established Martin Luther King, Jr., National Memorial & Stone of Hope, and a Supreme Court Tour.
These are just some of the historical sites Noah photographed while on his spring break trip. Worldstrides and a handful of teachers from Noah’s junior high provided a nonstop, fast-paced, and absolutely unforgettable adventure for about 50 fortunate kids, hitting up other spectacular events and sites such as Ford’s Theater performance of 1776, the Pentagon Memorial, the Lincoln Memorial, Georgetown Cupcake of DC Cupcakes fame, International Spy Museum, Library of Congress, National Archives (Declaration of Independence, Constitution, Bill of Rights), the Old Post Office Clock Tower, and most beautifully and delicately, the abundant DC cherry tree blossoms. There’s really just so much more to list. This is his second trip across the country with school. Such awesome experiences of a lifetime never to be forgotten!
