On Top Of My World

Off he went.  And we let him go.  I knew how exhilarating it would be for him to reach the top of this mini Mount Everest, never thinking he may cause an avalanche upon himself, let alone fall over the other side of the mountain, which turned out to be a pretty steep dropoff facing north.

Instead, I knew he would feel alive, and exhausted.
