Southern California has experienced its first rain in over three months, and from conversations on Facebook and around town, it is a welcomed rain.
Jack hasn’t seemed to mind it at all either, this being his first experience ever with raindrops. He went outside, looked up and wondered where it was all coming from as it dropped from the sky and off of the opened patio umbrella. Thankfully he doesn’t mind a little wetness. I actually don’t think he can feel it through all of that gorilla fur. Proudly, our growing big boy has now learned how to sit on command, with a little help of tiny training treats.
But these needed showers won’t last for long. By Thursday we’ll be back up in the 80’s, and then on Friday the Santa Ana’s will blow through town again, bringing us into 90-degree temperatures. Perfect for weekend soccer.
