This is a sweet, sweet story about young Lois living her life with the guidance of The Manual, a life lessons book written for her by her terminally ill father, who died when Lois was five. Some of Dad’s letters were heartbreaking, some endearingly funny. Having lost my mom at a young age, written words of wisdom from her would have been cherished. Writing a “Manual” of my own would be a wonderful thing to do, too.
This story will touch all, especially those who have lost a loved one and painfully yearn for their love and advice.
